I don't know of any SW-related tatting stuff, but Sarah at knitting-and.com has some SW Fair Isle charts...

I saw those...I'm just not sure how I can use them. Scarves are great...except that whole 6 foot 6 (read: needs a loooong scarf and Amy has not time) thing, and that whole It's 108 in the freaking shade here thing LoL...May do something at Christmas like that though.

Maybe you could work the small ones into something like these from the latest knitty (having the knuckles read STAR WARS, oh how geeky)... still not that useful in the heat, though. Hm. A pillow?

Not really what you were asking for but I tatted a celtic heart from Rozella Linden's book for my partner, and to my surprise, he was really pleased with it! It takes about an hour to make so you might want to give it a try?

What about a tatted bookmark. Even if it's not related to anything he likes, at least he can use it to mark his favorite Star Wars books, or music sheet. I know there are somewhere a pattern for tatted musical notes. Will search for them...

I saw that pattern, actually. I thought about it, but there's really nothing you can do with them, so I didn't worry with it. Thanks though!
