I should clarify - the reason I ask you if you know where you snagged the icon from is this: I made it. :-)
A dear friend of mine for many years had requested an icon of the Weasley twins. She gave me no criteria, so I just let the creative juices flow. I came up with this icon first (see original post about it here). In the comments of that same post, she then requested that I alter the text a little bit, which led to the demi-creation of the sequel icon, which can be found here.
It was just a very nice surprise to see my icon in action from someone other than the two users I know of who had snagged it long ago (my friend taryns_mom is also a Weasley fan). But I would love it if you would credit me in your userpics, too. ;-)
And, if you're interested, I do have a gallery for the few HP icons I've made. There's not too many there, but there is also a sub-gallery of quote icons from a fabulous fanfic I once read (written by hermioneluna, another of my friends).
Oh dear, I'm sorry. I'm usually very good about giving credit, unless the person who made the icon doesn't ask for it. I actually save the icon under the name of the maker if they ask for credit. Anyway, I've just credited you in my userpics page.
However, I'm pretty sure I didn't just pick up the icon from a user, since I don't do that (former icon maker - boo to stealing). I searched through a bunch of Weasley-centric communities looking for an icon of the twins, and I'm pretty sure I found this one in a batch with a bunch of others. Just a warning, someone might be stealing your work. Sorry I can't remember what community it was, but I can tell you it was November 2006-ish.
This community approached me for permission to use it as their default back when I first made the icons, and I agreed. I never joined the community myself, so I didn't keep close tabs on it. As for anyone else, who knows where that/those icons might've spread to! Like I said, it was just a nice surprise to see you using it, seeing as how we just became friends recently, and I didn't think you had any prior knowledge of my creating that icon long ago. :-)
Oh, good cotton quilting therad is the best stuff in the world to tat with -- just when DMC started to kill off their prettier color combinations, I realized all that colorful quilting thread I had could be used, and I haven't looked back.
The colorways are marvelous, far better than anything DMC ever made, and the thread is very smooth and robust. Quilting shows (I'm a quilter as well) are the ebst place in the world to get tatting thread. :-)

I love using quite fine thread, and love the King Tut's quilting thread from http://www.ds9designs.com/index.html
Check out the beautiful colours....
They also have some pretty beads...

shows a pretty way to incorperate them. These are just ideas, because I joined the 25 motif challengs last year, and picked up loads of tips...
