I feel like the only other time I've firsthand witnessed something like that was back in college when the basketball team won the championship game or something stupid and everyone flooded the streets.
That's pretty neat you got to be in the middle of that all! And for something a little more warranted then sports.
I was around the corner and it wasn't nearly that crazy!! haha. It was still crazy, but at least cars could still go through. And they got hi-fives, whether they wanted them or not.
Yeah, this shit went on for at least an hour... We (perhaps?) left well before it ended, with the music pumping from speakers on a good samaritan's fire escape and the cops just kinda standing there bemused at the mouth of the street.
Kinda like the Vice President in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington when he just simply can't restore order in the Senate.
