So here I am creating a live journal. It's so weird to me because I've always kept paper journals. I have stacks of journals from high school till now which I keep in my closet. I like pulling them out and reading them once in awhile and getting all nostalgic, it's really nice to be able to go back in time like that. I don't know if I agree with

I have been on Livejournal for about 10 years now ALSO keep a paper journal. They are both important and serve difference purpose. I am grateful for the friends/zinester I have met through LJ and encourage you to have fun here but also check out communities, they are a great way to find out about zines and share your zines with others.

Just like you describe I have stacks of journals and often had internal arguements with myself about LJ being positive or negative for my writing but in the end it comes down to the community here and so with that: welcome my dear <3
