Found the cash I thought I lost. That makes me feel a -lot- better. Nothing like losing track of a (relatively) large amount of cash to make you feel like an idiot.

I'm glad I found the cash too - logically, I knew it had to be somewhere in the house because I last remembered having it here, but for the life of me, I couldn't find it. Luckily it was pretty much right in the area where I last remembered having it - it had just fallen behind something I had sitting on the floor and I couldn't see it.
And yeah, while it turned out OK in the end, I'll be very glad to never have that particular event happen again.
