I've taken up the whole leaving notes thing as well lately. Just last week it was "when you leave for the weekend turn your damn alarm off so you don't wake others unintentionally in the barracks". Of course there were a few more explatives but you get the point.

That happened at my old place once...we had the guy towed! It was rather amusing!
