Ok this may sound silly..but what do the contractions feel like?

I think I've been having them off and on since Monday night but it's been so long I have forgotten and no info I've tried to find online has had a decent description!!

(I'm going to ask my Ob tomorrow at my appointment but just to see if maybe you or someone here knew?? I'm so nervous and I don't know why!)

--Probably cuz that nesting instinct hasn't hit me either and everything is a disaster!!! At least the crib is set up and the carseat will be installed by this weekend.
