I just joined this community. My tattoos aren't anything amazing, but I'm a fan of them.
My first one was on my 18th birthday, and I just thought it was cute. I've had it for a little over four years and haven't regretted it so far.
The second one was about six months later, and I think anyone that recognizes the symbol will understand the meaning behind it. It may be my favorite of my tattoos.
My third one is about a year old and the one I get comments on most often.
This one is a few months old, and yes, I realize that in Judaism you're not supposed to get tattoos. I'm not Jewish. My maternal grandmother was, and I got this because of my paternal grandparents who treated me like shit during my childhood for looking "too Jewish". I very closely resembled Anne Frank growing up and got a lot of shit for it.
I'm planning on getting another one later this year. I'm getting a line of poetry that I wrote on my calf.
