I would like to add my appreciation to everyone else's. That was really clever and funny, and I particularly appreciate learning that Kirk likes Patrick O'Brian.

The discovery about the ear rings was perfect. Spock's decision that it's only logical to ask the doctor for assistance, and not revenge at all, was perfect. The use of numerical evaluation was perfect (it's easy to go overboard with that kind of thing, and you didn't). I look forward to reading more of your work.

Well, Star Trek had been called Hornblower in Space, and it is pretty canon that Tos!Jim loves Horace Hornblower... And it is always close to Patrick o Brian. I keep my ground: Stephen is A LOT like Spock+McCoy XD
