nightsinge made this request...btw...she's very cool. :)
I love that you're so positive and spiritual. That causes me to want to hear about: something entire mundane, something that totally annoys you (even--especially if you're working to overcome it) or one of your human foibles.I am glad I come across as being a positive person. I have however, been

I have never ever thought of you as a Pollyanna. To me, that type is more surface/vacuously happy. You have substance!
ignorant and uninformed people
racism and blind prejudice
terminally judgmental people
manipulative people
disingenuous people
people who use their looks to manipulate others
And the most superficial....fake blonds who used to be beautiful brunettes & curly haired women who ALWAYS straighten their hair
This list rocks. I'd add cruelty to animals on individual and institutional scales...and white people with dreads (since we're going to that hair place).
And I share that frustration of ignorance. More, for me, is informed (or even slightly informed) apathy. Not knowing could be a product of our complicit culture. Knowing and not caring is inexcusable.
I'm working on it too. ;>

I am not talking about thinking people are dumb or not as smart as me. I am talking about the assumption that intelligent people are informed about ...
I have the same issue ;-) I'm trying to work on it because the only persoh who really it effects negatively is mostly myself. I get so frusterated with people for not understanding that vision loss comes in a whole bunch of flavours, or the do and don't of dealing with a VI/Blind person using a guide dog etc... I could go on and on. It has affected my mental stablity and I really need to get over this hurdle and try not to get to peeved at people who I try to educate that aren't hearing a word I'm saying! okay /rant *smiles* I'm still alive btw.

I can understand why you get frustrated. I also know how guilty one can feel for being intolerant. I mostly keep mine to myself but I know it spills over when I am emotionally invested in that person.
I hope all is well.
