Some of you know that I run an after school program, as 1/2 of my job. The goal is to increase the number of black youth in the California College system. There is a long story behind this work, but I won't go into that in depth. Let's just say that we are trying to close the achievement gap.

My Mother's Cat Died
Last week I finally met my mother's 2nd cat, Silly a.k.a. Priscilla. She was so affectionate, cute and friendly. She bounced around the apartment and demanded attention and love. Very sweet.
