Evolution of our garden..

Can't stop being proud of our work on evolution of our gardens:)

Before we moved to our house, both gardens (front and back) were green. Very green. Indeed, too green:)

In a couple of months it became so green, so that we had basically no space to walk.. with this a lot of trees and plants got sick and died.
Thus we decided to clean up the space.
It took us quite some time to cut and clean the garden, almost 3 days to clean tiles and several months to get rid of the green garbage.. Amount of empty pots and pots with soil and with dead plants was just uncountable..

Note a difference in color of tiles:)
We also planted some trees in the front garden to make a green hedge, slightly "renovated" the look ..
At the end our back garden looked cleaner though still quite dark & green:

Our front garden also became more spacious, with less plants, but with an empty space in front of the house.. (disregard the green garbage container, it goes to the back yard:) )

That was a temporary solution..
Finally in July we "woke up" and started a true renovation.
- I've spent couple of days just looking at the gardens and imagining..
- Lots of internet research and travels to find tiles (now I know difference between beton and stone tiles:) )
- Huge amount of time spent on learning about plants, trees.. when do they bloom, what are their colors during the year, where to plant.. Where to buy..
- Once I got my driving license, I 've visited a lot of garden centers, bought, brought and put\planted lots of soil, flowers and some more trees (which are still very small now, but they will grow:))
- We are still waiting for a green hedge to grow and we need to find one more tree..
However, now it's a joy to look into window, to step out from house:)

And it is lovely in evenings when lights are on:)

Though the gardens are not complete yet, I'm proud of my work:)
