This is really just a heads up for Who lovers, that the BBC ARE STUPID have apparently spoilered their own damn show on the official website. (You know, like they did for the bloody second episode an' all. ARGH ( Read more... )

No spoilers here... helva2260 May 26 2011, 12:09:30 UTC
Ahahahaha! *headdesk* You know me and spoilers, I usually get suckered in: I went looking and googled it - and found myself reading spoilers for last year's episode 7 (Heavily pregnant Amy?! WTF? That's a massive plot developme...oh wait, and the Dream Lord. Wrong series, never mind. Also, I've now gone to the Contact page and left a complaint on behalf of the no-spoilers-please crowd. I pointed out that when the Show itself contains the catchphrase cum warning of "Spoilers!" then it's a bit rich for the website people to be oblivious to the fact that a large proportion of people want to be able to avoid them...

I am impressed that your comments are much longer than my whole post. Also, yes, on the actual BBC Who website, I did say.

I have heard that it's not really a plot spoiler, and they probably see it more as publicity than spoilers, but still... I don't want to know anything! At all! And given Moffat was so annoyed (rightly so) by people leaking from the preview of The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon, I'm really surprised that anything as spoilery as this sounds (given the kind vagueness the person I heard it from gave) has been officially published.

In short, argh. The stupid, it burns...
