Also, I never really thought about it, but it makes perfect sense to me that Sanji would smell like lemon and mint and (of course this) cigarettes. I think whenever I see him, I will imagine these scents. :)
And of course, the idea of this story is a lovely thought. ^^

Are you kidding me? I bombarded you with so many comments, and yet you still have taken the time to reply to every one of them! It is so very kind of you. ^^
I too feel that there is a calmness within the characters or at least the atmosphere of One Piece. I think it is unavoidable to happen when spending so much time on a boat in the endless sea. Yes, a great deal of bickering can occur, but I think that it can only last for so long. Eventually, it can grow to be tiresome. =_= Ah, but I may be romancing the situation because of my affection for Sanji and Zoro. But I don't know, I still think I see traces of it in moments when I watch the other characters and such.
I am an extremely picky reader myself, I think- so when I write, I try to write sparsely, to not "clog" the reader's senses XD
Oh trust me, you do not clog the reader's senses at all. Can I ask what kinds of stories you like? I love your writing aesthetic so much, I really would like to read anything you may recommend. ( ... )
