thank you tori~ ! The smoke rings part was inspired by a conversation I had with an online friend once...and actually I kinda agree with you, it's somewhat pre-slash hahahaha. Whenever Zoro and Sanji interact I enjoy watching them, because of their good chemistry. And the skypeia arc...I need to search for the episodes myself, because I'm not entirely sure, but the one with the firewood, I think it's episode 166. In that episode they share another cute moment, Sanji sits down beside Zoro and throws him his dinner ...haha ( ... )

Ah, thank you so much, I really appreciate the fact that you think so! To me, when writing a fic, to keep the characters IC is the most important, haha.

Thank you so much or writing this. I love the little details that you mention -- Zoro opens his eyes to the sight of Sanji, the clouds, and the sky, staring down at him. -- I do not know why, but this line felt so beautiful to read.

Also, I never really thought about it, but it makes perfect sense to me that Sanji would smell like lemon and mint and (of course this) cigarettes. I think whenever I see him, I will imagine these scents. :)

And of course, the idea of this story is a lovely thought. ^^

Sorry I seem to be talking so much in each reply ;A;
Are you kidding me? I bombarded you with so many comments, and yet you still have taken the time to reply to every one of them! It is so very kind of you. ^^

I too feel that there is a calmness within the characters or at least the atmosphere of One Piece. I think it is unavoidable to happen when spending so much time on a boat in the endless sea. Yes, a great deal of bickering can occur, but I think that it can only last for so long. Eventually, it can grow to be tiresome. =_= Ah, but I may be romancing the situation because of my affection for Sanji and Zoro. But I don't know, I still think I see traces of it in moments when I watch the other characters and such.

I am an extremely picky reader myself, I think- so when I write, I try to write sparsely, to not "clog" the reader's senses XD
Oh trust me, you do not clog the reader's senses at all. Can I ask what kinds of stories you like? I love your writing aesthetic so much, I really would like to read anything you may recommend. ( ... )
