Now I want to re-watch it... When I saw it the first time, I hated the style, got scared and didn't finish. Second time, I started to enjoy the style and I knew that it wasn't as scary as my tired mind hade it to be the first.
Now I jsut have to watch it a third time to enjoy all the ZoSan moments and understand the movie even more~ Awesome recap, had me laughing quite a bit XD
Haha, yes, when I watched this, although I instantly liked the new style, I had a feeling that a large number of fans would/might not like it, or might need more time to get used to it. Once you get past that though, it becomes totally awesome and enjoyable. I'm glad you're gonna rewatch it the third time ! :)
I love your comments, they are so detailed <3 I like reading long comments, so don't worry- feel free to tell me what you think as much as you want :)
Haha, they already sound like an old couple, bickering over the littlest things. The old married couple vibe is pretty apparent in this movie, especially in the conversation over the "kids".
80% of whatever screentime Nami gets has her face looking like this. As compared to Movie 10, where 80% of Nami's screentime is fanservice. Lol.
Yesss you noted the difference too! ;D I really like how Nami isn't "Miss Fanservice" but "Miss Comedy" in this movie :)
And Zoro sweating while saying "I won't go even if you invite me", I'm pretty sure in his mind he's chanting "Invite me, invite me!" I just find the idea of a jealous!Zoro so adorable...hahaha. And knowing Sanji and his undivided attention for girls, it's no wonder why Zoro would resort to annoying him to get Sanji to pay attention to him instead.
Sanji looks so pale, but still so pretty.I can't help but feel that Sanji looks so
( ... )
Oh, I would love to, but I only watched Strong World and Baron Omatsuri so far. I heard that the other movies are not too good, so I think my spam will stop here, haha...but there are moments from the anime and manga I like as well, so maybe I will do a post on that one someday.
And LOL, I agree, Sanji is 5x prettier in this movie- the clothes his wears shows off his slenderness ( as opposed to the muscular Zoro), and Sanji's hair is soft and wavy, and his skin is lovely and pale.
I hope you rewatch it! This movie is gorgeous- it's different, but so worth it.
I love your recaps. You capture exactly what I like too about the movies, but you put them in words so much nicer. (And many pics too swoon over

Sorry, for being so late! No time and I had to search for those movie 6 sketches and frames for a bit, but of course I ll give them to you, you should be able to download them with the following link:http://rapidshare.com/files/373055198/M6_Omatsuri.zip Enjoy! I loved them so much, the cover speaks for itself and picture nr. 122 is also veeery nice. :D
And you are welcome of course and btw. you are not by any chance from germany? :)
hey, thanks for the link! I downloaded the thing and was pretty much SMILING throughout the whole thing ! I just LOVE looking at pre-production sketches. And those ZoSan drawings look even gayer in sketch form, ahah! It really looks like they're kissing XD Thank you so much again!

But now, I look at the ZoSan moment and has the growing passion to re-watch it!
Mama Sanji and Papa Zoro are so cute! Love your nickname. Also love the way Sanji blushes when he says 'please' to Zoro. LOL so pretty boy!
I also just realize that the costume that Sanji wears at the gondola in this movie also appears in Pirate Ship Noah. Woahhh.
Thank you for this post, hopefully you will make another post about another One piece movie that has ZoSan moments. :)

oh, high five! Someone who enjoys the art too! I adore this movie so much, it's such a lovely addition to the OP universe.
And I think I read that doujin too- but I forgot which one it was! Also, would it be alright if I could see the frames as well? They sound so lovely !
Thank you again :)
