After about 5 weeks of over time and insano doubles of doom (working from 4pm to 8am) it's all coming to an end.  I'm into my last 16 hour shift of the month, although it's gonna be a tough one, 16 hours work, 7.5 hours off to sleep and then back to work ( Read more... )

1.  I finished the tattoo.  It looks even more amazing in color.  Although I've discovered that healing time on color work is A LOT longer.  especially inthe places where there are three layers of color.  Pics will be coming soon.

Despite finals and three friends (in two groups) coming out from the east coast this weekend, Shawn and I have appointments to get ink.

Nex t sunday I start work on my arm piece.

I couldn't think of a better way to use my stimulus package.

(well, except for sex toys... which I may do as well)

I did a little searching in the pots and discovered that while some of the blue lake beans sprouted they grew confused about which way to grow (the top of the plant was headed downward and the roots toward the sky) some of them apparently grew frustrated and decided it wasn't worth the effort.   The more intelligent ones finally figured it out and ( Read more... )

I need to get to my p-patch and see if the greenleaf lettuce is going to make it.

I think that my snap pea is doing well, although it is going to need to be trelised soon.

I straight sowed some basil, which I have since learned is a big no-no.  I hope that the mesculin, spinach and cilantro will work out.  Gotta go check.

The good news is that I am feeling better.

And fortunately it's not a constant spinnig so I don't have any  major problems with nausea,  just really easy motion sickness if I spin my head.

It's worst when I am lying in bed and roll from my back to my side (or vice versa) but as apposed to yesterday where I always went topsy-turvy, now it is only ( Read more... )

It's been a long time since I've updated.  I've been busy with work and school and the recent addition of 200 square feet of heaven.

Ok, not really.  but after waiting about 2 years, my name finally came up for a p-patch near my house.  I haven't really done any gardening since I was in maine, and I am excited to get my hands back into the soil.  ( Read more... )
