Yesterday while I was in the laundrymat CNN was on the idiot box. They were reporting the flack that Obama has been getting over his impending address to the school children. A right-wing Okie retard was saying that he was trying to indoctrinate the youth like they would in N. Korea or Sadaam's Iraq. I visibly expressed my disgust and another patron (and one who was visiting from a foreign land) asked my why Obama gets so much heat. My response to him was simple "the only reason that he gets the amount of flack that he does is becasue he's black and he's the president, and red-necks don't like it!" Another customer, who happened to be a black woman, asked me aloud, "You just said that?!" "Hell yeah I did, I'm not blind to the underlying racial preducice that has oozed from the opposition since even before he took office, and let me blow your mind a little more...not only to I think that, but i was also born and raised in Texas so I know how assholes like these think."
