If the person in question is a tech-head, you could always take 'em to the Apple Store to drool.

Failing that, a tram-ride is a good bet.

And there's several pubs around which serve their own Real Ales.

I can't help much, I'm afraid, because when we were out there, we mostly visited places my Dad went to in the 60s which wouldn't interest anyone else.
