Its official! Ray is very excited- he will finally be doing his job: in December he'll be going to Afghanistan for a one-year remote assignment. I think it will be to Bagram Air Force Base near Kabul. I'm glad that we have lots of time to get ready, and that I get to have the car to myself for a year ( Read more... )

well That is News! Congratulations to RAy -- his career is really developing!

We'll be in CA a LOT after August to see our grandbaby. We will be sure to visit with you too!

We have nooooooo clue when there'll be a hole in his schedule to go. Depends completely on when his training things are, and who knows when they'll tell us that!

Do you have any idea how much ray does not want a baby right now?!? I'm the one who has to get my baby fix from my cousins' baby and impending babies.
