Another fic for a laurel_tx challenge. Ahhh, I can't believe how long this turned out. I meant it to be, like, six pages or so, but I just couldn't stop. I had to post it as two different lj entries. XS

Ok, comments:
-Possessive!Barty doesn't like somebody else touching Regulus: heh. I like that.
-Regulus is distracted by Disgusted!Barty--Regulus must be pretty kinky to like that. Heh.
-Regulus still lives with his mum, and hides things in his sock drawer-that kinda makes me want to give him a hug. Awww, Reggie!
-References to Sirius/James: I love you for that (loved you anyway, but Sirius/James is quickly becoming my favorite ship)
-I really like the idea of a wizard paying such close attention to mathematics-most fic doesn’t have the wizards interested in anything that a Muggle could understand, or that could be explained without magic (“Barty didn’t see magic as numbers, just as flashes of light and splendid metamorphosis.”-yes, that about sums it up)

I should add that I love how you wrote Mrs. Black (she gets CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, holy fuck that feels like a whole new concept, I never see her get that) and also, you make me wish I didn't hate math, that it made sense to me (logic, I can do--and well--but I've always been pants at actual math--once numbers and such come into play, I'm hopeless).

Thankeee for the comments! I have admit, a lot of the maths thing was that I would kill for a little of Hermione's influence in the WW so that we could get some goddamned logic in the magic. Regulus is my sock puppet!
