Earthquake

Work sent us a (not even close to) helpful email about what to do during an earthquake. It includes this gem:

"If you are in bed, stay there and cover your head with a pillow."

Folks! If there is an emergency and you are in bed, pretend it's not happening! That's your safest option!

Everyone knows that if the roof caves in, a pillow over the face is the best defense!

Don't listen to them! Get up, go to the wardrobe and get a second pillow. You never know, there might come an asteroid swarm at the same time as the earthquake.

In the unlikely event of an asteroid swarm, hug your teddy bear tight!

This is pretty reasonable advice, I would think. Though, I like that work sends you emails that assume you might be home in bed. I want such a job.
