Well here it is Friday...finally. This week was very long, but the week after a holiday usually is long. I'm sitting here at work looking at all the stuff I should be doing and I just don't want to be here. Of course waking up at 2:30 and not being able to get back to sleep until 5:00 doesn't help my mood.

Hi Rain...hmm...which scissors are better huh? lol!! I'm still waiting for my hair to grow more before I donate it to locks of love...I'm afraid to have 10 inches cut off! But I went to their website and saw pictures of before and after and those kids look so happy in the after pictures. I know I will donate but probably not until the spring...unless I notice it's stopped growing...lol!

Hey Tawny

I never took Art History in school but this is the one I would choose if I had my choice:

This is the other: Introduces the student to major artistic periods from the Renaissance to contemporary art by examining the function and role of the artist in various periods of history with an emphasis on the origins and developments of artistic styles such as High Renaissance, Baroque, Romanticism, Realism, and Cubism. The course will survey major works by artists such as Michelangelo, Jan van Eyck, David, Van Gogh, Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Frank Lloyd Wright.

I would then take what I learned and go to the nearest art museum and see if I could apply what i just learned. I do so much better with visuals and this could be fun. You meet so many different types of people there and they all have an opinion of the art.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

Hi Marsha...how are you doing?

I was first thinking of that class as well. Now I have to fit it into my schedule. I wish they would offer it online but of course they don't! I really don't want to go to school after work because the weather is so crappy!

Hi baby! Take the first one! They both sound very interesting (and I would very much be interested in taking either myself! I loved Art and History in High School, I could only imagine combining them would be amazing) but the first one with art and architecture from Greece, Egypt and Rome sounds so fascinating! I want details on whatever you take! (I can learn thru you! LOL)
Love ya, Brit
