You may be able to hook into a gig either at the University of Texas library, or some of the smaller college libraries, or even the Johnson Presidential Library. The humidity in Austin isn't as bad as Houston or Dallas because of the green there. Not saying it ain't there, but it's manageable. There are worse places in the U.S. to be surrounded by than Texas.

Well, those would be my ideal gigs. But if that didn't happen I would still need a job immediately. Ya know? I don't have mummy and daddy supporting me.

True that...oh, one other selling point...Austin is 60% cheaper to live in then SoCal...just sayin'.

Duly Noted. If I had to work in a bookstore for a few months it would certainly not be the end of the world. Especially if my rent was 300 dollars.
