If you'd like your character to obtain an item that isn't available otherwise within the city, they need to begin an item petition. The aliens created the system to ensure characters needs and desires were met while giving them a chance to boost interesting interaction in the city.

First - A character will ICly express interest in getting an item

Item: The rest of his brain, in his head.

OKAY: the caveat is I don't want this to be a way to sneak Ambrose in through the back door, so this won't be his brain, just a functioning other half of one. No old memories - other than the ones canon and I have established he has, and those will be readily accessable - and no drastic shifts in personality, just Glitch without the glitching and with bonus genius-ness.

Let me know if that needs any sort of tweaking.

Do you want to thread out the character speaking with the Aliens?: If y'all have time / inclination, I'd like to.

What kind of CR task would you like your character to fulfill?: INVENTING STUFF. Like, he finds three people who need a Thing and he makes said Thing for them. Unless you've got better ideas.

What kind of CR task would you like your character to fulfill?: Well, I just had Long do the newbie guide, soooo if it needs to be something he hasn't done yet it could be completing the translations? ...no wait that wouldn't work because the aliens don't WANT him to do that.

Maybe getting the guide printed up or something or tasked with sending it to the tablet of each new arrival. Hm.

I'm good with alien-speaking if you want to/have time to thread it out - I need practive with the hamsters anyway - and I think getting the guide to newbies will be a decent task. Which could be handwaved so you're nto totally swamped with intor posts.

UM. I'll think of posisble other things if you like? We'll brainstorm & things~

Lolz don't even worry. I kept forgetting to bring it up to you all the time.

I certainly have time! And so far I've been tagging the newbies with Long doing a link to the newbie guide, it doesn't bog me down really.
