McCoy quickly surmised the possibility this just being a hallucination was becoming slim with each passing second he remained in this loathsome city. But from the help of a Jedi Knight or whatever the blonde had claimed to be, he had run into Jim after being taken from the Sanctuary and found the Enterprise. Quite literally, as the Starfleet Captain stared dumbly at the doctor and stated that they were just coming to get him.
He had just rolled his eyes until he noticed the state of the bridge first hand.
... Jim had torn Goddamn wires out the bridge with that smart ass Colonel as his lackey. It was groan worthy but instead, he busied himself with trying to become accustomed to using this tablet he had turned up with and came across a broadcast that caught his eye as he quickly learned how to use it.
"Space Syphilis? Really?" McCoy announced with a hint of amusement colouring his words as his lips twitched into a smirk. Revenge for not coming to pick up his best friend, "If I ever figure out what piece of home these bastards landed me with, I'll give you a more definite answer Taxon."
He was going to pay dearly for this insubordination.
