Things hadn't been right for a while. Ever since Willow found out Buffy had been selectively withholding information (re: the future and magic addiction) from her, things hadn't been right. Since Buffy found out about Giles and Faith's 'dalliances', things hadn't been right with him either-- in the sense that Buffy didn't even want to see him. In general, there had been a whole lot of 'not right' going on, and now, according to her tablet, both of them were gone, and it felt like nothing would ever be right again.

After staring at her bedroom ceiling for an amount of time that didn't register-- but in which the sun apparently set, she eventually stirred. Oddly, she hadn't even cried. There was just this numb, dull feeling that pervaded everything. She wanted out of it-- out of Taxon, out of everything, out of herself. There were a couple of ways she knew how to do that. The best one right now seemed to be to find the nearest bottle of tequila and drink herself stupid.

Misery loves escapism and company, of course, so she picked up the tablet and poked around through her contacts, until she found Cordelia. A text message seemed like the safest option.

Hey Cordy. Haven't seen you in a while. Feel like hitting the Bronze?

[ooc: she will be taking her tablet with her, so if there's anyone else not Cordy who wants to deal with a s6-style depressed Buffy, be my guest]
