It's around five o'clock in the morning when the citizens of Taxon find themselves inexplicably transported into rooms within
the Sanctuary. Doors are left open and beds unmade, food abandoned and lights left on, still shining brightly for those who were awake and are no longer present. The Extras don't seem to notice the captive population's

As he moves through the greenhouse Dan notices another man standing on the opposite side of a row of plants between them. The man's features are mostly obscured by the greenery and Dan stays where he is until he can get a better look. For all he knew, this person could be a threat. Dan knows that he can take care of himself in a fight, but this city was different from back home. If this person had something to do with the newest glitch, he needed to be careful. He continues his walk, not wanting to alarm the other man into something drastic, but Dan shifts his position to be ready to defend himself if need be.

And there is one person who remains impossible for the world at large to read, yet Dan has somehow managed to crack that armor. It's not enough to ever make the man weak, that is an impossibility, but Dan knows that there is something on the fringes of friendship between them. He also knows his stance and mannerisms, the paranoia that frustrated him but ultimately kept them both safe. All of that was here, written across the face of someone who seemed so familiar.
He walks through the rows of plants toward the red headed man, eyes narrowed slightly in contemplation. If his instincts are right and a certain person doesn't want to be found, this could end very badly for the both of them.

"What the heck does that mean?" she wonders aloud, staring at the message on her screen.
Well, time to really wake up and figure it out. And that's about when she sees what's happening in the third floor kitchen. (Eventually, she makes it out of her room, down the hall, and to the ninth floor kitchen - after quite a few wrong turns trying to find said closest kitchen - where she blearily looks around for food at the same time she checks the tablets.) No... no, no, no, no! She doesn't even know if there are other vampires, nor does she care if Drusilla's going to go crazy over this. All she knows is that Angel's here and if he's trapped like she is, then he's going to need that blood. Like ( ... )

For now, though, she nods at Angel. "I-I don't know how many of them there are o-or if there are any others, but... I figured you'd need it and if there are any others, they'd need it, too. So if you want it, I'll just... keep a stash here."
And Angel can come get it whenever he feels like it and keep her as much in or out of the loop as he wants. She really doesn't care at this point and she trusts Angel's judgment, for better or for worse.

And so Glitch, clad in ornately paisley blue and gold silk pajama pants and a tatty blue t-shirt, emerged from room four and blinked blearily around the hall and...kitchen. Quaint, but not the palace, and he wrinkled his nose at the text message on the tablet before clicking to visual.
"'Technical difficulties'? I-is that supposed to be some improvement on...that other word?"

Stress, he could deal with as well, given the right circumstances (and the right amount of it, as any man would break under too much pressure).
"Is it just me, or did they amp up the Sanctuary?"

The second question earned a raised eyebrow. "I'm probably the last person to notice any changes to this place, Cain, but if you say so I'm not gonna argue."
He wandered further into the kitchen, turning the tablet so Cain had a view of Glitch-cam. "This does look nice. Cozyish."

It's one of the things he's come to miss since coming here: digging his hands into the ground, sticking around to watch new life grow right out of it.
"I think you'll like the floor I'm on even better than yours."

If one can call purple silk pajama bottoms 'clothed'.
He's not happy about this new arrangement, that much is obvious from the mild frown on his face as he walks the halls of the second floor, tense and alert. Once he's sure that there's no immediate obvious threat, he turns on his tablet.
"Does anyone have any idea what's going on, other than 'technical difficulties'?"
Reply
"Judging by all the activity on the tablet it seems like everyone who isn't an extra is asking that same question."

"Perfect." That's Adrian's pissy voice right there, but he restrains it immediately. "Then I guess the best course of action would be to coordinate some kind of inspection of our surroundings first, unless you have another idea?"

"I don't have another idea, but I can tell you that my entire floor is this way." He points behind him to the metallic storage. "I can meet you on your floor or somewhere in the middle."

So when he woke in the familiar but utterly unexpected confines of the Sanctuary, he rolled out of bed, sprang (or staggered) to his feet, and looked around for any other sort of clothing. There were no jeans, and more worryingly no jacket which meant no cigarettes. He flung open the door to his room and stood there in nothing but pants and this shirt, and snarled into his tablet.
"Where the hell are my smokes? And my trousers?"
Fitz Kreiner: man of priorities.

Fitz Kreiner suddenly appearing in the hallway in his underwear: pretty much the opposite of food and/or moisturizers. Kurt just gasps loudly in shock and averts his gaze. He uses his hand as an extra layer of protection for his poor virgin eyes.
"Ohhh my goodness. Just what are you doing?"

Aaand then Fitz realized what age bracket the person he was addressing belonged in and he did a rather spectacular double-take.
"Oh bollocks, sorry, hang on!" He ducked back into the room he'd woken up in, and there was much swearing and rustling as he liberated the white top sheet from the bed. When he emerged again the sheet was twisted about his waist and trailed behind him a bit like a bridal train, but fortunately it spared everyone a view of his unmentionables. "Right, should have thought of that before. Erm."
No, this was not at all awkward.

While Fitz is busy assembling his little sheet dress, Kurt considers just bailing from the scene and just saving them both the embarrassment of having to deal with this. Strongly considers. He even moves to depart but is now not so certain he wants to keep adventuring in case someone wanders out of their room completely nude. That would be 10 times worse.
He still has a bit of a grimace left over when Fitz re-emerges, but it quickly turns into some sort of mix of uncertainty, embarrassment, and displeasure at his current predicament. And also a lot of confusion at the mess that is this man. He strains to form words, and they come out overenunciated at first.
"Wh-why don't you have pants? And have you never tied a toga or something before? You're going to have to sleep in those sheets and whatever they pick up off the floor that way."
