[ it's something of a tradition, albeit one that declined as things in taxon sped up and spun out of control; dawn and river dancing ballet together. being as they're all stuck and in pajamas now, there's no better time to revive it than the present

[ dawn can't help but laugh as river spits hair out of her mouth. it's been too long since they did this. she nods at the question, smile wide and easy. ] On the higher side of it.

and once hair is very surely extracted from her mouth, she bounds off to circle the room in some amalgam of a folk dance and ballet. ]

Quinn is impressed, and feels slightly reminiscent of her attempts of ballet as a child.

[ dawn shakes her head, looking over at river and smiling. ] She's good, I'm slightly above average.

"It's practice," she offers between stretching. Then, almost distracted, she adds, "We need lifts."

[ river just takes a slow step and turn into the frame behind dawn, waves at buffy, then does a short jump back out again. ]

At least it looks like people are keeping themselves entertained--which is really more than he can say about himself. Even so, sitting still for a moment probably won't kill him, and it could always be worse. Of course, it does mean he's taken a sudden rather keen interest in his tablet--which may or may not be a good thing.

"Occupational hazard of captivity," is River's explanation now that she's stopped spinning. Then, after a pause and gulp of water she adds, "We're avoiding liver damage," to give him an idea of other (apparently) acceptable coping mechanisms.

Corwin almost laughs at the last comment, but he manages to cut himself off--barely--and go with an amused expression instead. "Glad to see you're upstanding citizens. But liver damage is only half the fun."

"I know," she answers in absolute deadpan. "Other symptoms of the physiological state are temporary euphoria and vomit."

Things have been seen, Corwin, that cannot be unseen.
