So my first celebrity chef crush was David Rocco.
Then I discovered Alton Brown and fell in love with his mix of science and cooking.

Now I think I'm enamored with Rocco DiSpirito. First his name is really awsome. And then also he's just really pretty. Really really pretty.

Also I like food.
And I like teaching.

Teaching about food? Hmm...

It took 4 years for me to have my first overtly racist incident in Peterborough.

It took 5 months for me to have one in Kingston.

This term I'm in the introduction to aboriginal education course. The main reason I took this option was that I knew very little about it, but identity is for me a huge part of teaching and so I wanted to know what I could do to help a marginalized group be represented in, enjoy, and succeed in schools. Let it be known that I work until 5:15 - 5:30 ish on the 27 - 31st. I will try to have my cell on me and am always up for avoiding the parents. :D

Also, if you feel like coming by the ROM, I'll be with the kids activity areas. Not the hands on bio or disco galleries on the 2nd floor though.
