Abby had to cover her mouth as she peeked around the corner. Connor had his iPod and headphones on, as well as Abby’s pink, ruffled apron that Jess had bought her.
He was singing The Beatles’ I’ve Just Seen a Face at the top of his lungs as he danced through the kitchen making coffee and pancakes, even flipping them like a pro.
Connor’s voice careened through the apartment. Abby couldn’t resist any longer. When he reached the na-na-na’s, she jumped in, singing with him, scaring him half to death, and causing him to make a very high-pitched, unmanly sound.
