I wrote this for Inoo's birthday since he is my favorite BEST member ^^ and because koigaiiasked me to write more inoobu

Inoo Kei wake up early this morning and he had a reason for that; it was his birthday and he wanted to make the best of it. He was exited but he was also really nervous as he stared remembering what happened two days ago.
[Flashback]
Inoo was trying to study in the rest room of the studio where BEST was having a photo shoot. Well actually some of the members have already gone home after their pictures were taken, he could have gone home a long time ago but someone was making him stay so he was trying to make a god use of his time.
But studying seemed like a difficult thing to do when someone was walking around him and asking him for an answer.
“Come on, Kei. Tell me, what do you want for your birthday?” Asked Yabu for who knows how many times now.
“I told you already, I can’t think of anything I want” answered Inoo in a tired voice. This was a lie, there was something he wanted but he just couldn’t bring himself to tell the older guy.
“There must be something. I won’t let you go home until you tell me what you want as a present” Say Yabu stubbornly.
“There is nothing I want, just get me whatever you want”
“But I don’t want to get you whatever I want, I want to get you what YOU want and I have no idea what that is” Yabu said getting frustrated.
Just when Inoo was going to continue the argument one if the staff members interrupted them.
“Yabu-san, it’s your turn”
“Hai” Yabu answered reluctantly “I’ll go right away”
Yabu didn’t wanted to go, he knew that as soon as he went to take his picture Inoo would go.
“They are waiting for you” Inoo say, hopping for his best friend to go away.
“You haven’t answered my question?” Yabu simply pointed.
Inoo could see in the other’s eyes that he wasn’t going to give up so, he toke a page from his notebook and wrote something in it. He fold it at much at possible an approaches the now confused boy.
“Here, this it’s what I want” Inoo say giving the paper to Yabu and rushing out of the room before the other one was able to react.
Yabu unfolded the paper just to find a simple wish in it.
I want you to want me.
[End of flashback]
Since them Yabu hasn’t called him not texted him even once. Well, maybe it was better that way since Inoo was so embarrassed that he probably wouldn’t have been able of taking the call.
What did I do? I should have asked for a book or a CD. Inoo though while whacking himself.
But there was nothing he could do about the past now.
He decide to get dressed and go out for a walk, that would help him to think of a good excuse to tell Yabu that afternoon in the ‘surprise’ party he knew JUMP was preparing for him.
Maybe he could say it was just a joke, for the other one to let him go.
After getting dressed he went out of the house, distracted and with no destination in mind.
“Happy birthday” A voice said, surprising Inoo out off his thought.
Inoo heart stared beating faster and his cheeks got read; he could recognize that voice and he wasn’t yet prepared to face the owner of it.
“Th…thanks” he answered still not facing Yabu.
“Why did you asked for such a useless present?”
What??!! Useless? Inoo though. Yes he knew that the other guy didn’t feel the same way toward him, but hearing it like that was hurting him more that what he had imagine. So after all it was useless. Yes, is useless to ask for something the other person can’t give.
Inoo couldn’t say anything since he feared that if he opened his mouth he was going to start crying.
“Isn’t useless to ask as a gift something you already have?” Asked Yabu in a low and sweet voice.
What? Did I just hear well? Millions of questions where forming in Inoo’s mind; he just couldn’t believe what he hear. De didn’t wanted to let his hopes rise.
But all the confusion and doubts disappeared as he felt Yabu hug him from behind.
“I already want you Kei, I love you since a long time ago” Yabu said tightening the hug.
“Yo… you do?” Asked Inoo almost whispering.
Yabu didn’t answered, he turned Inoo round and kissed him.
It was a small, sweet kiss; but it was full with emotion and warm and make Inoo feel like fireworks were exploding in his chest.
When Yabu broke the kiss Inoo realize he has closed his eyes and immediately opened them, a big smile showing in his face.
“Now let buy you a present” Yabu randomly said pulling Inoo by his hand. “This will also count as our first date” Yabu happily added turning his face around and winking to Inoo.
“Hai” The birthday boy answered letting himself be dragged away by his now new boyfriend.
He didn’t care what they could buy later; nothing he could get would be able to make him happier that what he already was.
