Why cream? What about something bolder? What is cream to you? Like khaki or like alfredo sauce? :)

If I put up pictures of my house you will scream. I have a ROYGBIV house.

I really like the way you have those shelves decorated!

I <3 roygbiv!!! Thia picture is totally misleading as to our color scheme.

What you can't see in this shot is that the main accent color in this room (we have a studio, so it's a kitchen and bedroom) is like, neon chartreuse. With a little bright orange and a two foot tall stripey pink orchid. So much for a neutral palette :)

The cream color I have is called "nude sunset". It's a "vibrant" cream, like, white with some golden-peach undertones.

I think the other color I'd be inclined to seriously consider would be somewhere in the range of oranges -- yellowy or reddish or flat out orange. However, the actual owner of the house is a little color shy in totally arbitrary ways. He hates green and random other bright colors, and we might move kinda soon anyway so I don't want to do it something that is inflexible (we already painted the bathroom pink and orange, heh). But the blue really is weird with the wood tones there and its irking me.

Oh I was going to suggest orange after I read that your other wall is chartreuse. Now that you have described the "cream" color more I think it would look nice.

One half gold, the other half blue, a gray star central.
