Winter Weather

Well, somehow all the snow missed Augusta. Atlanta got snow. Looking at the radar, you can see the snow hitting an invisible wall when it got to Augusta. It was like we were in the eye of a storm for most of the afternoon with rain and snow all around us. I am very disappointed.

Hell, Atlanta got snow, I live an hour north on top of a mountain, the mountains beside me have visible snow from my back deck. I got a wet cold ground...and will have ice tomorrow morning but no snow.

I'm sad.

You can have mine. The 6" of snow estimated by Doppler turned into about 3" of bumpy ice on my driveway. My power keeps going out, and we're business as usual at work. I have a 37 mile commute, and schools are out all around me and along my commute.

I think I shall stay home and try to telecommute (if my power stays stable)

It was almost like someone with a lot of pull prayed for the snow to not come to Augusta.

It just evaporated as it came closer to the CSRA.

Yeah, something like the mountains in North Georgia was blocking the cold air. Actually, Augusta is just full of hot air.
