Layer Cake is about a man who is in the british mob and wants to get out and retire. The layers of the cake symbolize the layers of the mob that he has to go through in order to get out alive.
It would be Yorkshire tea as there is no other tea worth drinking or worth comparing one's life to.
In regards to Pie, I've always felt that maths was way too hard and so if we compare all life to a number that is complex and goes on forever then I suppose they might be on to something.
Being British doesn't mean I cheat, it just means that I can use words like 'snog' and 'bint' in complete sentences.
