He watched her, a grin lurking behind his eyes. They were all used to the end of the school year routine, enough that he fully expected being left behind when she tore across the platform to hug them...
And he'd follow more slowly, as per usual. "They claose enough yet, Tabs?" he teased, then turned in their parent's direction to let his lips quirk up ever so slightly into a vague but genuinely glad smile.
"Hush you," she hissed at him, barely sparing a glance from the corner of her eyes. It just so happened that they were close enough, and the happiness of it bubbled up in her too much to worry about the fact that she was living up to Philip's taunting expectations.
Darting off toward them, she watched her parents start to smile as she came closer. Throwing herself toward them, she haphazardly tried to get one arm around each of them and was fortunately halfway caught by her father's arm so that she didn't bring them all down to the ground.
Laughing, Callie waited until Gabe had steadied their daughter (OMGSQUEE!!!they have kids!XD) and had pulled her towards him before following and hugging Taylor as well, effectively squashing the girl between them but it was a nice, comfortable, family squash.
"Hi, sweetheart," she greeted cheerfully. "We missed you."
Gabe laughed under his breath at their daughter's enthusiastic greeting, and nodded along with his wife as she gave their assurance that Taylor had been missed.
"Very much," he agreed.
Taylor beamed up at them, squeezing them both one more time before looking over her shoulder to see that Philip had finally gotten there.
