I'd definitely pay the extra. (any chance of retro-fitting a necklace?) Also... I'd go NUTS for a matching comb or tiara if you are getting metal stuff custom made. I begged Lauren from American Duchess to consider making regency tiaras, but she only want to do footwear. But I'm determined to get somebody to make these someday. ;)

BTW... I FINALLY put my package in the mail to you today I'm such a procrastinator!

Yay! Thank you- and I am thinking of doing an offer to retro-fit those that I have already sold. The main problem is the time to get them. The guy is actually in Israel and they hand-make all the settings, so it can be 1-2 months before I get them in! So let's get yours squared away first, and then perhaps we can revisit resetting them :)

About 25% of my brainpower is occupied with trying to figure out how to do tiaras! I promise I am working on it!

I would pay, too. Would there be enough interest overall? I was going to ask, Is there enough costumer interest? because I'm assuming that most customers are costumers. But come to think of it, that's not actually the case. With what's-her-name making them such A Thing, you might tap into the fashionistas. Particularly those who shell out $500 for bags and shoes. There's definitely a type of customer who doesn't want something that's too *cheap*. So really, what is your current market base, and will you be able to reach further with this?

Also, is there a certain wholesale rate you have to get, or can you purchase the precise numbers you want?

I agree that you could go far by tapping into the contemporary jewelry market. And count me in as interested in the more authentic version! I'd also love to retrofit my parure.

I haven't gotten one yet but plan to and would pay the increase, especially knowing they are sp or gp.

Does it cover the back of the 'stone' too? Cos it would make all the difference for me. I've got nickel & other allergies so don't buy any jewellery that isn't silver or gold (or silver or gold plated). eg watch buckles are the reason I don't wear a watch.

They do! These are entirely closed back, so the only thing touching your skin would be silver or gold :)

I love the idea of being able to retrofit our existing necklaces, especially since the new setting would not only be more accurate but be silver or gold plated.

I'm also with Jen - matching tiaras or hair combs would be amazing!
