Of all the things to miss while in contemplative seclusion,
I missed Crazy Crab.
According to numerous reports in the San Francisco Chronicle and in baseball blogs across the country, the 1980s San Francisco anti-mascot, which also happens to be one of my first (nightmare-inducing) memories, made an appearance last night in China Basin. The Giants lost to the Atheletics in the ninth. We all know that the Crab is to blame.
I'm heartbroken, and the game's beside the point. I missed Rehab the Crab. Outside world, you win this match.
