Thanks homes! I'll be around until sometime in July, I think. I'm not sure when yet, but if you're down here, i'll find you. (that didn't mean to sound creepy.)

I am very happy for you and will keep the
two of you in my prayers. My Bob and I spent
the first part of our honeymoon in New Orleans,
visiting friends, enjoying the town. You're
surely on holy ground, my friend, and isn't
the rowdy naughty bawdy of the city a nice
backdrop for experiencing the Sacred?

What a place for a honeymoon! Anne and I could always come back here as well, depending on what/ we end up doing about law school.

I've fallen for this city. I love the little Creole shotgun houses in Treme and Broadmoor, the palms running down Carrollton Avenue, the music joints where the town comes together (in Portland, by contrast, people meet at the local Starbucks.) There's work to be done, there's cafe au lait to sip- and it's a great place to fall in love!

That's not fair...the coolest of us meet at Stumptown (although I am not among them). The rest of us meet where there's beer--probably a McMenamin's because, well, there's 400 of them now. So yeah, still lame, but not Starbucks lame.

Taylor, my warmest and happiest congratulations! You look so very happy. You deserve to be.

I hope one of those law schools is UW. You would love Blessed Sacrament in the U Dist. AND I'm planning to apply for 2008. We'll see where life leads ... though I still maintain that one hasn't lived without the without experiencing the breathless beauty of the UW quad in bloom.

best best best,
S

Thanks Sarah! I love the U dist, but but I didn't actually apply to UW. I don't think I had a cold chance in hell this year, so I went for Seattle U instead.

If I do get into SU, even though its not the most famous law school, we're going to consider it, especially if they give me a Jesuit break for doing the Jesuit Volunteer corps.

I'd love to see you if we're both there!
