Chapter 37- Good byes

Well 2 weeks have past and Jade is home doing better, she has had no problems with her pregnancy after the loss of Sarah.
We had a little family memorial for her and when we get back to Tulsa, we are going to bury her ashes. Zac and Kiley are doing good, she is 3 months pregnant now, and Brianna is growing like a weed.
Today is the day that my parents leave and take Ezra to Natalie, I feel like breaking down, but don't want to do it in front of Ezra, he has seen enough tears the past couple weeks to last him a life time.
I finsihed packing his suitcase, thinking to myself it is only going to be 2 weeks, but that is 2 weeks that my heart is going to ache.
"It is going to be ok sweetie, it is 2 weeks, and you will keep busy with concerts." Trish said to me putting her arms around my waist.
"I know baby, I just like having him here with me, and the thought of not having him right here scares me." I told her.
"I know but your parents will make sure he is fine, and you can call Natalie she isn't going to mind, you know that." She told me.
"I know, I just want this 2 weeks to fly by quick, and have Jessie bring him back here." I told her.
"Ahh that is right, I get to meet your sister soon, there is still a whole part of your family I have to meet." She said shaking her head.
"Yeah we are a big family." I said giggling.
Soon I heard a knock on the door and knew it was mom and dad to come get Ezra, trying to brace myself not to cry, I am so going to miss him.
"Hey sweetie, we have to get going, our flight leaves in less then an hour, I will make sure that Natalie calls you and keep you updated on him, and when we arrive I will call and let you know ok? It is only 2 weeks Jordan." Mom told me taking me in her arms, I then broke down.
"I know mom but I don't like him leaving, I hate the emptiness I feel when he is gone!" I told her.
"I Know you do hunny, but you know she is his mother and has not seen him in along time hun." She said, I knew she was right, and soon he would be back here.
I walked him out to the van and put him in his carseat, he reached over and cried to me, wanting me to pick him up. "You are going to see mommy sweetie, but you will be back in a couple weeks." I told him so trying not to cry.
"No daddy, nooo, not go." He said to me crying harder, wondering how I was going to get myself to shut the door and watch him leave.
"Daddy loves you little man, you go see mommy and give her loving." I told him reaching over to hug him and kiss him goodbye.
"Wuv you daddy, miss you." He said to me as he kissed my cheek.
Soon I got myself to shut the door, listening to him cry, and seeing the tear flow down his little cheeks, almost killed me.
"He is going to be ok Jordan, he is just not used to leaving you, I love you sweetie, and I will make sure he gets back to you." She said kissing me goodbye.
"I Love you too momma, please take care of him and tell Natalie to keep in touch with me." I told her, starting to cry.
"I will sweetie, now is the time to turn your head so your son don't see you." She said, knowing she was right or he would keep crying.
I watched them pull away, still hearing Ezra's cry in my heart. I just stood there not able to move, til I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see Jade standing there.
"I know your going to miss him sweetie, it is never easy to let them go, but he will be back in no time, you have concerts to do and meet and greets you will be occupied, and you have a fiancee up there that will make sure your not alone." She said smiling at me.
"I love you sis, you are a blessing to this family" I told her taking her into my arms.
"Thank you Taylor, so are you, more then you will ever know." She told me.
We walked back into the hotel together..it was good to see her smile again and get out and do things again but she is careful not to over do it too.
I walked back into the room, and looked around and started to pick up Ezra's toys off the floor, reminding me he was coming back and I knew it was going to be a hard couple weeks but I had enough to occupy my time. I heard the door open and I looked up to see Trish standing there.
"I came over to see how you were doing before I took Jade to the Dr's, we have to do a check up." She told me.
"It was nice to see her out walking around this morning." I told her, taking her into my arms and just holding her there.
"I know you miss him sweetie, and that is to be expected." She said standing on her tippy toes to kiss me, I bent down to make it a little easier.
"I love you sweetie." I told her.
"I love you too, and maybe tonight we can relax and watch a movie and I will cook some dinner." She said.
"That sounds really nice, I would like that considering this is the last night we have off for 2 weeks." I said to her.
"Ok I have to go get her to her appt, but I shall see you tonight my love." She said hugging me and kissing me one more time.
"Ok sweetie, I will see you then." I told her watching her walk out the door.
I decided to go in and sit with Ike and see how he was doing, I found him strumming out a few cords on his guitar, and Zac was sitting there with the tamborine, I decided to walk over to the piano and join in! we ended up haveing a jam, we have not just sat down and played like this in a long time.
"Wow that felt good, it has been a long time." Ike said smiling.
"Yeah it has man, I have missed that." Zac said.
"Me too, Lets play a little more." I said to them.
So we spent the next hour just playing songs that we would be doing tomorrow night, we were singing, jamming, and when the song was done we heard clapping. We looked up to see the girls standing there all smiling and clapping their hands.
"Nothing like a free concert for the ears." Jade said smiling.
"That sounded so good you guys, you need to do that more often." Kiley said to us, walking over and sitting down next to Zac.
"That is the first time I have heard you guys live." Trish said, not even thinking she has not been to a show, since she is busy here.
"Well we will have to have a show for you someitme." I said pulling her to me and sat her down in my lap.
"I would like that, you guys are great, I have heard your cd's just never seen you in concert, and now to think I am marrying one of you." She said laughing.
We all looked at her and laughed..she is the cutest thing. We all decided to have dinner together, the girls were going to cook and we were going out to get the movies, Zac decided to take Brianna with us so that Kiley could have a little break, she looked so tired. So we got her ready and took off.
"Are you holding up ok man?" Ike asked me.
"Yeah, I miss my son really bad, but I know that he has to spend time with Nat too, I have to get used to that." I told him.
"Yeah, and we have enough going on here to keep you occupied!" Zac said chuckling.
I was dazing when I felt my phone vibrating. "Hello" I said.
"Hey hun, its mom, wanted to tell you that we made it and we just dropped Ezra off to Nat, he didn't seem to really want to stay with her." She told me.
"Hey mom, thanks for letting me know, and I knew he would have a problem with that too, but he has to get used to being there." I told her.
"Yes, and he will do fine, and Jess has gotten her tickets already I just picked them up, so she will be flying out at 8 am and arriving there about 10 pm, so make sure you set things up with her." She said.
"I will make sure of it mom." I said to her.
We talked awhile longer and said our good byes, I knew that Ezra was safe so I felt better.
