Chapter 40- Going Home

Well we did it, we made it through this tour together, indured lots of heartache...but we made fans happy and brought new lives into the world here and started a few new memories for us all.
We will be coming back over here, but not til March, we are going home and enjoy the holidays with family, and have a wedding and another birth!
We were all purly exhausted, it has been a long year and now all of us are just glad to be going home...home to Tulsa where our hearts are and soon to be where our wives, gf's and kids will learn to love too!!
We all loaded the kids up and headed to the airport.
"Oh god, I can't believe we are finally heading home..I can't wait to Brianna settled into her own little room and get stuff ready for the newest one!" Zac said smiling over at Kiley.
"Me either man, it has been so long since I have seen Tulsa that I want to kiss the ground when we get off the plane." Taylor said holding tightly to Trish's hand.
"I just can't wait to be able to call some place home, we have been on the road for so long that I want to stabalize a little bit." Jade said, knowing exactly how she was feeling.
"Wow, we seem to have more bagage then we did when we started out." I told them laughing..holding my son's close to my chest.
"You are a nut Ike you know that right?" Zac said smirking.
"Yup, who would have thought that when we left the US we were not even married..now we have 2 sweet boys going home with us..." Jade said...her voice trailing off...knowing when we got back to Tulsa we had to bury Sarah.
"I know sweetie, I am not looking forward to burying her either, but you know, she is smiling down on us right now." I told her, kissing her cheek.
"Grandma is taking good care of her sweetie, I can just see grandmom looking down smiling right now holding Sarah tightly in her arms." Taylor told us.
We got to the airport, unloaded all the baggage, and then loaded the plane...ahhh home sweet home, I just can't wait to get to our new home.
I looked around to see everyone sleeping, Zac was holding Brianna to his chest...Tay had his head on Trish's shoulder..while Ezra was sleeping on his chest, and Jade was sleeping with her head on my shoulders holding Joshua close to her, and I was holding a sleeping Jordan, making me feel so good to see my family all together and happy.
The plane was finally landing, I looked out the window to see fan's standing there with banners saying."Welcome home guys." Making my heart fill with joy, knowing we have been away from our American fans to long,soon Tay and Zac were looking out too.
"God, that is so cool!" Zac said smiling.
"Think they missed us any? Tay said laughing.
"We need to give them some attention when we get out of here, We have been away from them along time man." I said to them, both of them nodding their heads at me.
I fastend the boys into their carrier seats, and carried them off the plane, fans were screaming, I smiled at them all and started to head over to them. "WELCOME HOME GUYS!! WE HAVE MISSED YOU!!" They were yelling.
"We have missed you all too, thank you so much for coming out here to see us." Taylor told them.
We walked around signing autographs, taking pics with them, talking to them, realizing we need to do some shows' here for them, We really have gone along time.
We spent a good hour just being with them, then finally we made our way out to the van to load up to head home,Mom and dad have no idea we are coming home today, we wanted to suprize them, since they have not see Joshua and Jordan yet, we were excited.
"DO you think mom and dad will be shocked?" Jade asked.
"Oh yeah, but mom will do a mush fest over the kids you know." Zac said laughing.
"That is ok, it will give us a little break." I told them laughing.
"We need to start getting the wedding plans in gear, considering we are getting married next month.." Tay said grinning at Trish.
"Yes you are so right, gosh I can't believe it is next month." She said smiling over at him.
We pulled up to the gate, Steve looked at me and smiled. "Ahh, suprizing the folks I take it?" He said smiling. "And hey, congrats on your new additions." He said.
"Thanks man, yeah the folks have no idea we are in town, are they here?" I asked him.
"No, actually they all went shopping about 20 mins ago, so you have time to unload and hide the van, if you need help I will be happy to assist." He said.
"Thanks man, this is perfect." I told him.
We drove up the long drive way to the house, got the kids unloaded and took them and the girls in and then went and hid the van down in Zac's driveway.
We sat there just soaking up how good it was to be home and in familiar surroundings again..god I have missed home and have missed Tulsa.
"It is so beautiful here, I am just totally blown away." Trish said looking at all the baby pictures of all of us kids, touching the fireplace they all sit on. "I can feel the love in this house, and I can see why you like to come home." She said as Taylor went behind her and put his arms around her.
"It is always nice to come back home, it is always in the heart, and our family is just wonderful to come home too." He said turning her around and kissing her.
"Yeah, you can feel the love in here, and to see all these pics of you guys, I mean it is like heart filling, and Bri does look so much like you when you were younger Zac." Kiley said, leaning over to kiss me.
Soon we heard the car pull up the door yard, so we all bolted down to the studio in the basement, making sure to leave no hints.
"Gosh, I wish the kids were going to be able to be here for the holidays.." We could hear mom say.
"I know sweetie, but you know soon this tour will be at a stand still so that they can come home for Jordan to get married, and for Zac and Kiley to have the baby." Dad told her.
We couldn't stand it anymore, we ran up the stairs, and mom just stood there not moving..We ran to her and hugged her tightly.
"Oh my god, why did you tell us you were going to be here?" She said slapping our arms.
"We thought maybe a little suprize was in order, and it seems it worked." Zac said kissing her cheek.
"Oh you boys are just too much, so where are my little grandchildren." She asked as Ezra came running out to her..and Kiley was holding Brianna's hands walking her between her legs..Yup she was starting to take steps..it was so great to see. Mom just had tears fill her eyes as she saw Brianna walking towards her. "Oh precious, you are just to much." She said picking her and Ezra up and hugging them.
Then, we brought her new grandsons out to her. She came over to us, and she just started crying as she looked at them and took them into her arms.
"Oh the little miricles that this family has been blessed with, I just never want to let you all go again." She said kissing each little cheek.
"Why don't you guys go get your stuff unloaded and then come back for supper, I will keep the kids here if you would like?" Mom said to us.
I was thinking that is a great idea considering none of the girls have seen where they are going to be living...Zac didn't have to take Kiley very far, and ours was down the road, and Tay's was a little further down from ours, so we decided to take her up on that..as soon as Jade made sure mom was left with some milk for the boys.
We each went our own ways to our new houses, all I can say..Is it is nice to be back in Tulsa! I have missed the family and missed the life here.
