so i got into one of the classes i wanted (history/poli sci 177b), hooray for that. but i really don't think i'm going to get into the amazing poli sci class, the waitlist hasn't budged. oh well. so, instead, should i take modern latin american history or european history, middle ages - 1700s? i ordinarily wouldn't take the euro class, but i've

They played a medley of John Williams music at All County Band last night. It was wonderful, especially for being played by a bunch of middle schoolers who have not yet achieved puberty.

star wars makes me so happy. i was watching empire strikes back the other day (i haven't seen the movies in a while, so i wanted to watch them all again and in order) and my roommate came in and i felt like SUCH A GEEK. but it's okay. because star wars is so spiffy that it makes up for being a geek, and besides, everyone here is a geek. <3
