I thought that too after I heard his stance on homosexuality and stuff.

no no no i mean literally. he was actually a member of the nazi youth party and fought for the nazis (for a short time) in the war. now he says he never supported hitler...but some people aren't quite so sure. i think it's hilarious.

and yes, he's a nazi in the figurative sense as well. but it's so much funnier to think that the freaking POPE was a freaking NAZI. for real. lol.

I just heard that part today. But, honestly, back then if you weren't part of some nazi youth group or any nazi group in general they would crucify you. So, I almost, but not really, forgive that one.

yeah, i know, i mean it's not a big deal or anything to me, it's (almost) completely understandable...i just think it's really funny to think that the pope is a former nazi.
