i'll be drinking tonight with you. but i'm (perhaps insanely, sorry Jon) slightly optimistic that it won't be as bad as we think. AND, if nothing else, these asshats will make Obama look real good for 2012. I see a 2nd term on the horizon.

That, I very much do see. I'm not worried about Obama in 2012, I'm worried about the next two years of legislative gridlock gumming up a long but steady and unmistakable recovery. (Sure, let's cut government spending while we're still pushing 10% unemployment, you unfathomable vermicious knids.)
