So thanks to MIKE-SOON-TO-DIE HARVEY, Rho and I never made it home. We're stuck in the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner if anybody wonders if we're alive or dead. There is that. Trust me, I was just glad we lived. The car stalled out for a good half-hour on that dead stretch of toll road between Hunter Mill and Route 7. I was in the car with Rhopalocerienne, very asthmatic, and I was trying to imagine where we might be able to walk to for shelter before she keeled over for lack of breath. She was imagining the same really ugly scenario. We were frankly just glad to be alive, whatever was going on with our abandoned car.

But still, Mike Harvey must die.

He's Rho's boss. Not my boss, mind you, Rho's boss. She asked him if she could head out early to avoid the snow, he said no. Mind you, he owes her literally hundreds of hours of comp time. And for the extra hour or two he squeezed out of her, therefore me as well, he will lose untold future hours of productivity, because at the first hint of a snowflake, we will skive off.

Pardon my nasty seriousness, but, if he actually owes them to her, in a literal sense, should she not be thinking "Legal action!" at this point....?
