That's a fun idea, but hard to swallow. (so to speak) So much of the mystery and intrigue of vampires, is that their reality is incomprehensible until you become one. They are a powerful symbol for the mysteries of death- what would the dead say if they could walk and talk and have politics?

The closest my vampire mythology comes to this idea, is a human marked for conversion, but is still allowed to enjoy a few more years of daylight.
