Go to Google
Click on Maps
Click on Get Directions
Type New York in the “ START ADDRESS ” box
Type London in the “ END ADDRESS ” box
Click find directions
Watch it think it out. The directions will come up - check out #23

I first saw a link to Google maps for Chicago to London...then New York to Paris. I guess if you don't want to swim and don't mind the long route in the winter, you could try and head west to go east...no one minds crossing through Russia and China! :)
