Sadly, it looks like the hat might have been added at a later time, though it's still too cute for me to cause a ruckus.

I can't find any evidence of photoshopping. The shadows also seem to be all right and everything.

I'm just gonna give you some o' Luke's reasons.

- im saying YES to the PS question
- i can give several different reasons for why i believe so
Me- edges
Me- and lighting
Me- colors
Me- yeah?
- and the one that stands out the most is the bright coloration on the hat
- edges are fairly straight
- cat doesnt overlap it at any poin
- shadows dont match
- hat is not centered on kitty's head
- i always get the feeling of a faint light blue outline on the hat, my like, oh, the sky around it had been cut out

In my opinion the shadows are wrong. The darkest part of the hat is the bottom left and the top right is the brightest. The cat's shadow is behind it, bottom towards the right. It's tough, I pointed out the possiblity but give it leeway because it is cute.
