Lolz. I was diagnosed with Emovirus A. It's a virulent form of the disease, and some people have a genetic predispotion which makes them more vulnerable.

Luckily, that strain tends to only take a day or two for the body to fight off, leaving the patient merely a little bit exhausted.

The virus can be treated by certain "anti-emols," such as Civ4adine. Possible side-effects may include insomnia, loss of appetite, impaired sense of time, and a desire to conquer everything in sight. Other withdrawal symptoms may occur.

It can't be lupus. The EEG and LP were clean, and it hasn't presented with a rash in any of the usual locations.

Also, lupus doesn't explain "bleeding into the brain" (That's a technical term). It must be alcoholism. Or Munchausen's.

By the same logic, all your successes would mean nothing and be erased. That seems rather bleak to me.

Then what's the point of trying to do anything if you can't leave a mark?

You have fun while you're at it. A person can certainly leave a mark on the world, which is fun while they're alive, but once the person's dead they won't be around to care whether they succeeded or failed. Takes all the pressure off.
