"Please don't believe my words are lacking honesty"

So here's how my year went...

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
I went to my first rave, haha and to Juarez (to party). And umm... I don't know, a lot more things.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make a New Years resolution, but I guess I could make one for next year and try to keep it.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
None.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A good relationship, better physical features, and good health.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Mainly, November 20 and 21 which was the day of my sweet 16 and my sister's quince and the 21 was the day after. Also, my first rave with oscar, kiti, arnoldo, and xochitl. And all those times going to Juarez with oscar, arnoldo, xochitl, denise, and kiti. And hanging out with them during the summer. And of course hanging out with my sista andi, and art, and adrian. Those were some good times and great laughs! Oh yeah... and December 14. And I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Maturing.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Ugh, I had more than one failure. I'd rather not mention both. And it sucks that I have to think of one of them as a failure, but as much as I don't want to, I do regret all those times. And yet, I fail to learn from my mistakes.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Hmm... well I'm always getting sick, but I don't think I got that sick, and I don't think I had any injuries, atleast not physical.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Clothes, I guess.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Umm... I don't know?

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I'd rather not say.

14. Where did most of your money go?
To clothes, hehe.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Warped Tour, because I was going to see TBS, Senses Fail and Thursday, but it wasn't as great as I expected, but it wasn't too bad. And eventually my sweet 16! =D

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Depeche Mode - "Just Can't Get Enough"
The Cure - "Just Like Heaven"
Modern English - "Melt With You"
Edwin McCain - "I'll Be"
Goo Goo Dolls - "Black Balloon"
(^Songs from the 15/16^)
And way more songs that have special meanings, but it'd be too much to name here.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
Not as happy as I was. Also, not as hyper and upbeat.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Taken more picutres to remember all the great times.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
****** *** (my biggest mistake, unfortunately).

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Maybe with my family in San Antonio, or if not, with my family here.

21. How will you be spending New Years?
I have no idea, but I better do something fun, with my friends!

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
I fell out of love after a while. And now I might be one step closer to falling in love with someone else.

23. How many one-night stands?
None.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Degrassi! Haha, it's practically the only t.v. show I watch when I do actually watch t.v., and I do agree with Andi when she says that this season has been the best!

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Umm... yeah, but I prefer to say "very much dislike," rather than hate.

26. What was the best book you read?
Speak

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Pinback

28. What did you want and got?
A new purse, haha. And a fun summer.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Lost In Translation, which is a great movie! And I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them right now.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 16, and my actual b-day wasn't too great, but the sweet 16 made up for it 100x!

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hmm... a car, I guess, and money.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Better.

34. What kept you sane?
Amazing artists with their oh-so-perfect lyrics and instrumental talents, and my friends.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Haha, Adam Lazzara and Ewan McCregor, and Angelina Jolie =)

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Uhh... the presedential election.

37. Who or what did you miss?
Having a boyfriend. And this semester, going out to lunch!

38. Who was the best new person or people you met?
Xochitl, Melissa, ahh I don't know a lot more people... everyone that I met this year is absolutely great! =D

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
Try not to fall for someone too easily, and don't give in to your mind, but listen to your heart. We all make mistakes, but the best thing we can do is try not to make them again, rather than lamenting over them.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
Onelinedrawing - "We Had A Deal"

I had a deal with heaven but it fell through
I had a dream or seven and I’m not sure which one came true

I’m the one that never runs, I’m the one that never stays
I’m the one that disappears, I’m the one that never fades
I am clear and solid truth, I am just one big betray
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow

I dream of days that go slow, I dream of someone that won’t go

Forget what’s coming, forget what’s went
Let’s make some laws that make some sense
Something stolen or something lent
A preacher or a president
That never lies and never sins
And tells us what a mess we’re in
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow

I dream of days that go slow, I dream of someone that won’t go

I had a deal with heaven but it fell through
I had a dream or seven and I’m not sure which one came true
We had a deal, but now I’m not sure

I dream of days that go slow, I dream of someone that won't go
Go
