Honestly, I enjoyed taking 20 credit hours a semester because I enjoyed the classes and the professors and my classmates' company. I had fun. And damn do I wish I was still back there. I did extracurriculars not because it would pad my resume, but because I was interested in doing them, and had fun and/or learned something from doing them. I want you to be happy, and I encourage you to at least try something new. If you don't like it, or think it's stressful, by all means, get rid of it. I've done that before. But as you said, other people will be looking at your resume and wanting to see someone involved, interested, and active. They'll ask you in interviews what kinds of things you did in school, what kinds of activities you were involved in ( ... )
